    Ans. A Clock.
    (27) "What time is it when the clock strikes thirteen?"
    Ans. Time to get a new one.
    (28) "Under the fire and over the fire and never touches the fire".
    Ans. A covered cake with a fire on the lid.
    (29) "Did you ever see a deer with horns?"
    Ans: No it was with your eyes you saw him.
    (3) "A little man standing in a field, when you pull his leg his nose will bleed."
    Ans: A water pump.
    (31) "As round as an apple as flat as a pan, on one side a woman, on the other side a man."
    Ans: A penny.
    (32) "The more you take from it the bigger it gets."
    Ans: A Hole in the ground.
    (33) "If you had a match, a fire and a candle to light, what would you light first."
    Ans: The match.
    (34) "How many feet has forty sheep a shepherd and his dog"
    Ans. Two.
    Those riddles are common in Kilmacowen and I have heard them used very often
