Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Xmas Eve Night.
    1. On Xmas Eve night all the houses put a light, either candle or lamp in every window in the house. the doors are never locked on that night. The reason for this is there may be some poor wayfarer on the road that night and the lights will guide him or her to shelter for the night. Even if the people are in bed the door is on the latch for the traveller.
    2. Every donkey goes down on his knees at midnight on Xmas Eve just as the ass did in the stable of Bethlehem on the first Xmas Night.
