- Near Collinsford bridge and on the right bank there was a tuck mill at the beginning of this century. It was used for the purpose of thickening flannels after it had been spun. It was brought down to a man named Mr Cogans and he finished it in his mill at a very reasonable price.There was also another house beside Mr Cogans. A Mr McHugh lived in it. He was an old gentleman and he sold the farm and house to a Mr Steward Kerr. He is a retired Sergeant of the R.I.C. It was the late(continues on next page)
