  1. There are three grave-yards in the parish of Castleconnor namely:- Old Killanly, New Killanly, and Castletown grave-yard.
    Old Killanly is situated in a dreary spot between two hills. There are ruins of an ancient church there.
    There is a rock in this graveyard, the rock is hallowed down in the centre and it contains a quantity of water. It is said that any person who washes his teeth in this water will never take a tooth-ache.
    There is a Protestant church quite close to New Killanly. Not many people
