A three quart tin of leaves off an ash three tree when in bloom. Boil the leaves in a quart of water. Let the leaves boil until the water is boiled away to a pint. When boiled drain the water into a bottle with a glass of whiskey and take a half glass of it every morning and it is a cure for either rheumatic or rheumatism.
A rodger leaf put to a cut, burn or boil with a piece of cloth is supposed to cure it
Roasted cauliflower is a cure for gum boil. It must be roasted slightly put on a piece of cloth and put up to the jaw.
The cure for the toothache is to lick a frog three times saying the words said when blessing yourself.
