The man that found the whistle covered back the hole as quickly as he could, when he knew the birds were gone. It is said that if the man kept digging he would get the crock of gold. - There is a hidden treasure in the townland of Knocknarrow in the Parish of Riverstown. The man who dreamt of the treasure was an old man named Kivleghan. This treasure is said to be hidden on the bank of a river in his own field. It was protected by an eel. It is about two fields from the road. The old man dreamt of this treasure three nights in succession.
