sneeze three times without someone saying "God bless us" you will be taken away by the fairies.
One of the fairies put a quill down through the loft and it made the bride sneeze. She sneezed three times and as she sneezed the third time Mullany said "God bless us". No sooner had he said it than the fairies threw him down into the wedding house. All the people there got alarmed and they went to kill him. He told him what happened and they kept him for some time as they were very thankful to him for saving the bride. After a short while he returned home and told his adventures.
