  1. A Song

Come all ye Gaels both young and old,

    I
Come all ye Gaels both young and old,
    And listen unto me.
While I will tell ye know right well,
    Of our great victory.
    II
On the eighteenth day of April,
    In nineteen thirty six,
    When Keash defeated Deroon,
And put them in a fix.
    III
These were the boys that played,
    In Mrs Hannon's field
They were the gallant youths from Keash
    That ne'er thought to yield.
    IV
John Joe played well I need'nt tell
    Till the final whistle went.
With Willie Morrison by his side
    On business they were bent.
