    land and Dick Bell's land. One of my uncles was riding on a horse and my other uncle and aunt were on the cart. They heard something trotting along after them and when they came within one hundred yards of Bells house they heard it no more.
    When my father was up in the field he looked over in the direction of James Flynn's meadow. He went back the next morning and there was no trace of a fire there so it must have been a fairy.
    One day a man named John McDermott was coming from school across the fields. He went as far as Bernard Taheyney's culleen and when he came out he found himself beyond at school again.
