    She insisted on his going immediately to the jeweller's shop with the rest of the precious stones, through he was starving.
    He got all the money he asked for them from the jeweller. When he came home it was dark.
    That night when Pat and his wife went to bed, about midnight they were both taken out of their beds and beaten. Every night the pair got their usual beating.
    They told a priest and he advised them to leave the treasure back. They got some of it from the jeweller, and left it on the bog. They did not get such bad nights as they had got before they left back the Treasure.
