    in olden times. Nora McGrath was the local spinner about fifty years ago. She used to go from house to house whenever the people wanted her and spin for them. Sometimes she used to stay a few nights in each house. The first thing she used to do was to card the wool and then spin it. After it was spun it was sent to a weaver whose name was McGarry and he lived in Archonry and it was made into blankets.
