- (continued from previous page)"My little dog will not bite you" join hands together in a big circle. then a boy or a girl leaves the ring and goes outside and as she passes by each child she says "My little dog will not bite you, nor you, nor you", until she comes to the child she intends to say then she strikes her on the back and the child follows her in and out under your hands and around the circle until she is caught and then she goes into the ring and strikes some other body and so on until the game ends.Another circle game I play is a lot of children to join hands in a big circle and keep going round in a ring singing while one boy or girl stands in the centre.
See what a pretty little girl I have got,
Many's a bottle of wine she has got,
A bottle of win and a geilidher too and see
What my little girl can do.
Down on the carpet she must kneel as the grass grows in the field.
Stand up stand up on your knees and show me the one that you love best.
Then she stands up and tells some one to follow her and when she is caught that child goes in and stands in the centre while that is been said and the same keeps on till the game ends.(continues on next page)- Collector
