    earth over a part of the field. In the morning he went out to where he levelled the fort and he found several valuable colts dead on the place where he spread the earth. Mr Finn quickly built up the forts to their former position. According to the old people it is the "Tuatha Dé Danann" that built the forts or lioses. The most of these forts are inhabited by a hare or two nearly all the year round. Also a share of rabbits abide there.
    One of these forts was ploughed once. While the man was ploughing the plough fell through the (field) land. When it was pulled up a passage was discovered by the plough-man. It is said that in the passage treasures were found also. The treasures were removed to the museum in Dublin.
