    had a fight with old Ó Flynn. They had a single hand combat between them. Ó Flynn beat the sea-king back into a slob and slew him there. He took a sword from the sea-king which was incrusted with jewels. The sea-king got the sword and scabbard in a far Eastern land, Which was worth a king's ransome.
    One day Eileen went out hunting with her two black stag or deer-hounds. She raised a stag at Gleann na nDeague. She chased him up to Curragheen near the place where the WaterWorks are now. She killed him deep in the heart of the Glen which was thickly wooded at the time, on the brink of a lake which is there to-day.
