    the people of the house recited the rosary, and after a short time the man got tired, he thought he was a little two long on his knees. He got up and got his "málín sáta", and he put it under his knees, and said. "Suíd leat go maidin anois é". That man and woman were very respectful, the man had a bag on his back and it was full of food and that bag was called his "málín sáta". They had their own tea, sugar, bread and a little saucepan for making the tea.
    When the travelling people long ago would come to the door they would be great welcome for them and the children would all gather around and make up a bed by the side of the fire for them she would get one or two quilts which she would have for that purpose, and a bag of straw and then she would make a bed for them.
