He said, "no". At last he did it. He sat down near a ditch and he was crying. Three people came up the road. There was a girl and a thin man, and a fat man. They said to him, "Why are you crying". He told his story about the dogs. They said, "Do not be crying". The girl said "I am Speed-well, the thin man is Hark-well and the fat man is Heavy-sides".
So they went away, and Speed-well and the boy married and they lived happy together.
