    To cure a tooth-ache, when the tooth was holed a person put salt and pepper into it.
    If you burned your leg you got the white of an egg and put it on top of the burned part. That used to cool and keep down the pain.
    For a bruise in your foot Caisbhreón applied to it as a poultice or hot-meal and bran made into a poultice helped to draw or cure it.
