The Sorrel is used for airing boils. It is pounded and applied to the boil as a poultice.
There is a little plant growing called Turpin. It grows on the roofs of houses and on gate-pillars. It is great for curing ring-worm. The juice is squeezed out of it and bottled and it is then regularly rubbed on to the ring-worm.
