Our fire been consumed, we sent Shaun Lyons for more,
He brought it along just to Mike Connor's door,
He thought 'twas alright that he would not be seen.
But he was apprehended by Nora and Besheen,
Ré - ri - fal etc.
    IX
Paddy Jackie and Cud Quill they went off in a crack,
To get bail for Shaun Lyons, and to bring the turf back,
But Besheen she insisted he should go to jail,
And Auld Norrie refused to let Jack out on bail,
Ré - ri - fal etc.

They commenced to dance, and some other quare play,
And myself got afraid, and at length ran away,
Wishing I had never seen that bonfire so rare,
Which would remind you of Races or noted Puck-Fair
Ré - ri - fal etc.
    XI
And now to conclude and to finish my rhyme,
I would tell you more, but I havent got time,
The sport that we had at our bonfire that night,
For the rest of my life sure my heart will be light.
Ré - ri - fal etc.
