    "Poll ag Rairin" is so called because it is situated between two hills.
    "The Three Stream Boundary" - so called - as it is a boundary dividing three different townlands.
    "Ciséan Bán," is so called because hte old people made baskets from the rushes that grow in the stream.
    "The Green Vein" is so called because rushes always grew in and around it.
    Names of Hollows:-
    "Móinfeár na nGabagg" is a deep hollow a the foot of a hill where calves used to be grazing.
    Townland - Knocknacurra.
    Parish - Ballymacelligott.
    Barony - "Truscagaicme."
