In olden times the Blessed Sacrament was not kept in Currens Chapel. (It was first kept in the chapel in 1910). One night in December of the year 1907 Daniel Scannell Ardcrone was going home about 10.30 p.m. He saw the door wide open and lights blazing on the Altar. He watched them as it was unusual to see any lights other than when Mass was being read.- Collector
