    piled up on a table. A closing tongs was got and the flax was brought through it. It was two flags opposite and another a great iron was put under one of these and a tongue of iron came up between the flags. The flax was then taken to a weaver who wove it into linen both fine and coarse.

  2. Twigs were got and left season for some time until fit for use. Then they put the twigs on the ground and wove them on a frame. Afterwards handles would be made of a twigs and attached to the basket if necessary.
