- Near Leam in Gneeveguilla parish there was a drain where horses used be afraid to pass by night. One night a man was passing that place but his horse would not pass it. She started snoring and sweating and could not pull the car with the weight that came into it.If he had anyone with him he would be able to pass there alright. He then went around by another road but he would not be left pass there either. He had to stay in some house near the place until the day after.
