On one occasion Seán Cait brun fell into the little river near his house and got wet. It was not very deep and there was no fear Seán would be drowned. When the old man heard of Sean's dipping he compared a "will" where Seán Cait left his property? to his dearest friends. This is only a part.

"An bainseach" was Seamus's son Adam Keane who was yellow skinned and got the nickname from his father.
The "Poc" was an uncle to the Roche family who lived in the locality.
