    Since I used sport and play
    Amidst its bowers bedecked with flowers
    Perfuming on my way.
    The village boys with me combined
    And travel in the train
    And welcome here oft thrilled our ears
    From the lips of famed O'Keane.

    Its there you'ld see the birch and beach
    The holly and the deal,
    The cherry, pine and mulberry,
    The apple, plum and pear;
    The gooseberries and currants,
    Nutmets, vines and grapes,
    And strangers welcome to partake
    Of all its pleasant shares.

    (IV)
    The summer-house well clustered round,
    To guard it from the rain,
    In cold or heat twas all the same
    You'ld find a refuge there;
    The honey suckle and sweet briar
    Edged round its borders laid
    The primroses and violets
    Adorned its beauty fair.
