The priest stopped and asked her what she had in her hand and she made no reply. He asked her a second time and she made no reply. A third time he asked and she said: “This is my magic charm”. Then he asked her what brought her there and she said she buried three of her sons without Baptism. Then he gave her his blessing and said: “thy sins are forgiven thee” and she vanished
