Lights are reported to have been seen at the fort many times in years gone by.
The place is believed to be "enchanted."
Nobody would even dream of digging away the fences or of meddling with it in any way when the field in which it is situated is being tilled.
High up near the middle of the fort there is a round bush growing.
There is a large hole in the centre which is thought to have been the entrance to an underground passage.- Collector
