    when he asked for admittance they told him not venture for fear he may not come back alive. So they let him in and when the giant saw him he roared and the earth shook under his feet and the trees in the forest commenced to fall with the viberation of his voice and as he drew his breath he was drowning King John's son nearer to his mouth and as he roared he was drawn back again against the wall and then when he drew his breath he drew him so close to him that he managed to throw the piece of cake into his mouth and then he knew henwas King John's son.
