    go crooked. Then he digs out all the sods and he spreads them out flat. He puts manure down on the sods and then puts down the potatoes on the manure. He puts earth on top of them with a shovel and when they are about nine or ten inches in height he sprays once or twice so as to keep away the blight and he leaves them there until they are fit to dig in the Autumn.
