    and western parts. There is an old road around the fort except on the southern side. It is starting on the east side and is going through the gap to the next field and then out to the mountain at the western side. Then it going from that mountain and from that to a coarse field and out to the public road.

    There used be fairies living in this fort long ago and used to be dancing and playing music there every night. They had some find of an army and they had a number of white horses. They used march around the fort and they used to have horses races around the fields and across the mountain called Fayheen. There are two lakes on the eastern side of the Fayheen called the Dooloughs or the doe-lakes which came there shortly after the fairies vanished. There is another fort in Jack Counihans land. It is situated in the fort-field. There is a slope in half the field and the rest is a big hill.
