   There is a hidden treasure in at Kippaugh. It is a jar of gold. It is up on the mountain in a cave at the back of Kippaugh. It is said that it was put there years ago when the country was full of robbers. The man that put it there died shortly after putting it there. A man by the name of Timothy Donoghue looked for it years. He found the gold because as he went towards the place where it was it shone out from under the rock. As he came near it a young fox ran down the mountain and went into the cave. The man looked for the fox but he seemed to have dissappeared. He took the crock into his hands and examined it and found that it was pure solid gold. He looked at the jar and he saw strange writing on it. He left the jar where it was and went away home with his mind fully made up that he would return
