  1. Knockahoe is situated about five miles to teh east of Killarney. Years ago there was a kind of tower built in one of the fields. There was no entrance to it except by a small window. A pony grazed in a field near by. One day he got into the tower. Nobody could understand how he got in as the entrance was very small. The owner had to knock the tower to get him out. They took the stones and built a house with them. The house fell. They built it again and it fell once more. No house fell 3 times. The stones of the house are said to have been enchanted.
