    If there is a thick mist on an early summer's morning then we can hope for a very hot day.
    Before a thunderstorm everything becomes as still as midnight. The birds cease their singing; there is not a rustle among the leaves of the trees, the smoke ascends perpendicularly from the chimneys not one living creature of the air can be seen.
