- "Fairy Forts" are mostly made in a circular shape and built with stone. There is an entrance in some of these forts as it is said fairies used to live in them long ago. They had their own music and were seen at night dancing. These forts are supposed to be built by Danes in older times, in the time of war. They were placed in such a position that you could see four or five forts from the one you were standing on. There is a fort at our house at Lurgahamla and there is a hay-shed built on it. There is a sand pit in it. It is planted with trees.
There is a story told about a man who was sick long ago, and when there no one about the house but him(continues on next page)- Collector
