    "crack". All the men are called a "boon." Each man leaves a row of "beets" of flax behind him.
    The next step is the "drowning". Carts come and bring the flax to the flax dam. Men there put it in with the "boughs" (seed pods) up. They put loose rushes on the top of the flax and "stone" it with big stones. If they get finished early they have a dance
