    Taking a penknife out of his pocket he made a cut in the skin right across her forehead, just above her eyes and she never had any more power to take the good of his cows.
    Long ago when there were fairies in Ireland a widow used to find half a crown in her husband's old waistcoat pocket that hung on the wall.
    Every morning she got the half-crown and this continued until she told a neighbour and then it stopped. She never got any more money.
