    olden times. It is a very good cure and it is used at the present time. The people leave a quantity of milk with a ferret to drink. The ferret has to drink the half of the milk. The remainder is given to the person with the ailment. After a short time the cough goes away and the person gets better.

    It is quite common in this district to put a horses hair tightly around a wart. It has to be kept on till it cuts off the wart.
