To make it buzz hold the double cord in each hand with the buzzer in the middle. Hold the left hand firm, and turn the cord quickly in the right hand. This twists the cord. Still holding the left hand firm begin drawing and pulling the right hand out and in towards the left. This makes a very pleasant buzzing sound which can be kept up for a long as you like. We sometimes hold buzzing competitions with other boys, to see who can keep the buzzer going longest. The way to make a catapult is to get a pliable forked stick and to bend it in
