    in the town but had townlands outside it were William Fitzgerald, and William Hamilton. The former was called "His Honour" and was very odd. He attended all the trains and hammer the lamposts with his stick on his way to and from the station. If anyone coughed at him he coughed back at them and called them names.
    Hamilton was oddity also very careless in his habits and not quite sane. He was nearly always drinking and looked more like a tramp than a landlord.
