    Then coming down through Church Street that is so high and grand.
    There is a splendid view of the countryside as far as Errybane.
    Then there is the Castle, so beautiful and rare,
    That now can keep the County hospital with plenty of rooms to spare.

    Around it is the grand demesne and in history we are told,
    That 'Blaney now does own what Landlords did in days of old.
    Out then to the market Square so spacious all around,
    And a better Market House is not seen in any other town.
