- There have been many prayers which I have heard at home. Some of these prayers are very nice to say.
This is the first one of which I remember
O Mary my mother and my hope I take refuge under Thy mantle There will I live and die Deliver me from sin and grant me a holy blessing.
Amen.
This prayer is said every morning on awakening and sometimes it is said at night.
This little prayer is said before work.
"My God I do this because it pleases Thee".
I was taught another little prayer and it is said every morning and every night.
"As I went over on heavenly land I met the Blessed Virgin Mary, seven white candles in her hand seven bells ringing and seven angels singing" Any one says this wee prayer three times by night and three times by day will never die in depths of sin or the gates of hell will never enter in
Amen.(continues on next page)- Collector
