A plant called "Devil's Nip is used to cure ring-worm
A plant (which grows in the sedge around pools) called "bog bean" is boiled and then the liquid is strained off. This liquid is drunk as a medicine to purify the blood in Springtime. It must be drunk while fasting in the morning
House Leek will cure sore eyes
Wild Caraway boiled is a cure for kidney trouble.
The oil from an ell skin will cure sore ears.
Sel skin will cure a sprained arm
To walk in the snow cures chilblain
Ivy leaves given to eat to cows will cure murrain
If stung with a bee put dandelion stalk in warm water - rub the stalk up and down over the sting part + it will cure the sting- Collector
