  1. There are a good many roads in this district. There is a road leading from Ballymote west to Templehouse which is called the Templehouse road and which is four miles in length. Another road leads from the fivecross-roads to Ballymote which is about two miles long. On the Templehouse road there are four cross roads and there is a road leading to the five cross-roads which is a mile long. It (got) goes from the five-cross-roads to, two bogs called Clooneuis and Farellmorris. Another road leads from the five-cross-roads to a three-cross-raods called the new-line which is a half-a-mile west of this School. I do not know when they were made Batty Costello and Tom O'Grady worked on the Templehouse road
