- Forfeit:- Long ago the children used to play a game called "Forfeit". Everyone would have a penny or a pencil or a halfpenny. One would sit upon a chair. Then the rest would give her their things and she would say: "Who owns this fine forfeit of mine". She would tell the owner to do some things. If she would not do it her thing would be forfeited and if she did do it she would get her thing back again. It is a girls game.Tig: One child follows another then she gives her a tip and she has the tig. Then it goes around to everybody.
