    grave. when they were out of the grave the other man fell dead. Thady took the clothes off the man and sold the jewels. He got £200 for them; and he bought a new suit of clothes for himself. He stopped in Dublin for the night. The carmen told him to go to bed, but he would not. After a while he went into a room where a dead man was laid out. He got into bed by the side of the dead man. When he got in, he said "Push over, push over," you are very cold." So he caught the dead man and put him under the bed. Then he got into the bed, and as he was very tired, he fell fast asleep. When the men of the house came to put the dead man into the coffin. They wanted to bury him secretly; so they did not wait to put the lid on the coffin. One of them said, that the man was very hot, but the other said he was hot, because he was rolled up in the blankets. So they took Thady in the coffin to the church yard to bury him. As they were carrying the coffin up the church-yard, one of them let the coffin fall. Then Thady woke up and followed the men back to the house. They thought it was a spirit they
