The owner of the forge in Ballyfoyle is John Cantwell. The owner of the one in Wildfield was a brother of John Cantwell. The owner of the one at James Conways was Marums. The owner of the Wildfield forge now is, Mr. Patrick Foley, Revana, Castlewarren, Co Kilkenny. Their fathers were smiths before them. These forges are situated by the road side.
