  2. Peter Dooling was married in his own house. He married at about twenty six years of age He lived in Attanagh and he is dead now He was about seventy two years of age when he died. There was a great wedding after he was married. And there were plenty of straw boys at the wedding

  3. It was a custom that when a couple would be getting married the man would bring home his wife from the chapel behind him on his horse. It was custom too, when a wedding would be held every man should bring his wife on his horse to the wedding.
