    the back of the castle there was a big hole where the people hid from Cromwell's army.
    There is the ruin of another castle in Shanaghana which was knocked by Cromwell's army. It is said that a rich man lived in it once. He sowed corn every year and reared a flock of Pigeons on the corn and because of that it was called the "Pigeon House".
    There is a stone in the middle of Mr. Delaney's field, Conahy. It has been there for many years. When a person dies it falls a little, it is now very near to the ground. It was said that people put stones under it so that it would not fall when the next person would die, but they sank into the ground.
