- Six men were one day digging potatoes in a field near a fort long ago. They had a lot dug for dinner time. They went over to ear their dinner's, when all of a sudden what did the see, but six women wearing cloaks and hoods out of the fort.
They came and started picking potatoes into their aprons. They let them alone and they stayed picking the potatoes for about ten minutes or so. They never looked towards them, but when they were finished back with them again out of their sight. They were frightened to move for a bit, but when they went back to their work, they found there was not a single potato missing. It is not right to touch a stick or a stone in a fort.- Collector
