- It happened in Molahiffe about thirty years ago. A servant girl and the woman of the house spilt a tub of milk of one night and they thought they would be killed. They put dust on it, and when they got up in the morning, it was in big lumps of blood.

- There was a man living one, and he was out late one night. He was passing a church and he heard all the noise inside and it was the dead. When he came to the gate he saw two people dressed in white, they called him in and spoke to him, he was afraid, but they told him not to be when he went home he told the story. The next day he went to Confession and after that he was never seen out late.

- Near our house there is a field by the name of "Kileens" and it full of small pebbles.
"It is said, if anyone take any of these pebbles he is to be haunted that night. A person living near the field was passing by it one day and he took up a few pebbles, and took them home with him.
